On-site slurry systems
Pigment slurries are used for coloring of concrete block, concrete pavers, wet cast products, concrete roof tiles and other cementitious and lime-bound building materials. On-site slurry systems are designed for the production of slurries at the concrete plant consisting of one or more mixing tanks. The mixing tanks are equipped with powerful agitators for preparation and storage of the slurries. The tanks can be charged with powder pigments via paper bags or bulk bags.
The slurry can be transferred to the slurry scales via attached double diaphragm pumps over relatively long distances. The scales are installed above the mixer to ensure reproducible coloring of concrete products. On-site slurry systems are designed for users with high pigment consumption such as concrete roof tile manufactures. They feature flexible installation and low pigmentation cost.
Pre-manufactured slurries are used for coloring of concrete block, concrete pavers, wet cast products, concrete roof tiles and other cementitious and lime-bound building materials. Slurries are pumpable, and due to high weighing accuracy of the scales, the system ensures reproducible coloring of concrete products.
The slurry system is equipped with storage bins, which are refilled from supply containers. Attached are double-diaphragm pumps, which transfer the slurry to the color balance, which is installed above the mixer.
The systems technology is flexible and individually applicable at comparable low investment cost.
